JACK KEROUAC ETCHING
Rcrumb.com announces a new Jack Kerouac etching edition to be released Friday, November 21st. The portrait was drawn in 1985, and printed in this limited, signed edition in October of 2014, almost 30 years later. The edition is printed on white Hahnemuhle paper which is 11 x 12 inches. The embossed area is 6.75 x 7 inches. Each print is numbered, signed and dated by Crumb. Each print has been screen printed with "Jack Kerouac" under the image in light grey ink. Crumb's etching logo is also screen printed in in a lighter grey ink in the lower left hand corner.
A beautiful portrait, Crumb captures the sensitivity of Kerouac, and also the sadness which drove him to drink and ultimately to his death at the age of 47.
