This edition not only brought back Dale from 1969, but also introduced a few new serigraphic printing tricks. Yes, there is a beautiful sky blue blend (color blends are a trademark of Wildwood’s) and that’s to be expected. But there are some new separation tricks to be found in Dale’s boots and gloves, giving that leather feel without competing with Robert’s line work.

Wildwood Serigraphs is proud to release this 170 print serigraph edition signed by both Robert Crumb and Harvey Pekar. Throughout most of the 1970's, Crumb illustrated many stories written and published by Harvey Pekar (released in his American Splendor comic book). These stories were collected and later published as a book in the mid-1990's, with this image as its cover.
Each Wildwood prints comes with our full guarantee for your complete satisfaction or your money back.
Everyone is probably aware that Crumb drew this famous cover first before Zap #1, even though Zap #1 was published and sold before Zap #0. But in many ways, it's this image which is associated with Crumb's plunge into (and pioneering) underground comics. Perhaps to fully understand and connect with this image, you had to have been there.
The edition is 110 prints. The dimension of the artwork is 15" x 19.5". The Rives BFK archival cream paper it's printed on is 22 x 30 inches. All prints are sold with our guarantee for your complete satisfaction or your money back.
We are releasing Crumb’s Harmonica Blues album cover as an unsigned numbered giclee edition. Each print is from a numbered edition of 500. The detail and color vibrancy is extraordinary.

Pop’s first gallery show, known as the Peoria, Il Show (circa 1966), featured this pen and ink drawing along with several other cardrawings. The Old Man and I thought it would be great limited edition as it represents the early Crumb style. There are only 100 prints in this signed and numbered edition. On Rives BFK archival rag as usual.
